We offer a couple of battery options, but the most efficient is the Tesla. This battery has bigger capacity than the LG but is also the ONLY battery which will kick in during a mains power cut, meaning you will never be without power.
A Tesla battery wall will set you back a couple of thousand, but you can reap the rewards through the new Smart Energy Guarantee (SEG). Replacing the old feed in tariff (FIT), this programme puts responsibility on energy providers of a reasonable size (those with more than 150,000 electricity customers) to but back excess power from you.
Unlike the FIT it is up to the energy suppliers to set the tariff for repayment, whether this is a static amount or flexible with the market price for electric.
